The HOFGAS® Efficiency high temperature flare provides safe and environmentally-friendly combustion of landfill gas. Burning landfill gases reduces by 20 times the emission of greenhouse gases from landfill. The exhaust gas emissions meet the most stringent North American environmental requirements. This is achieved with combustion temperatures between 1000° and 1200°C. The patented high mix, low NOx HOFGAS burner provides the lowest NOx emissions available on the market.

Converting biogas to transportation fuel as compressed natural gas (CNG) is happening today. It is generating far more revenue per cubic meter of biogas than steam or electricity generation. It is the ultimate in valorization of biogas. Biogas from waste water treatment plant digesters and landfill gas is the feedstock of choice for this conversion. AirScience has the technology and the experience to build Biogas to CNG plants with capacity from 200 scfm to 3,000 scfm.

HYDROGEN
The Terragas® process jointly developed by Unitel Technologies and AirScience Technologies, converts biogas from municipal solid waste landfills, anaerobic digesters of waste water treatment plants and other sources to high purity hydrogen. The biogas cleaning system is a four-phase system removing sulfur compounds, volatile organic compounds, water and siloxanes. Typical Terragas process plants produce one million standard cubic meter of hydrogen per day. |
